Overall, my goals were to get comfortable with regional level play and go 4-4. I definitely feel more confident in my play, and 1 point off of my goal builds confidence. Some things to think about if I want to try to compete hard next year. Good day, good process improvement. And good people!

Round 8 - LW Pikachu/Cornerstone Box
Game one went to sudden death, he had to attack with pikachu (with 10 HP left) into my Gholdengo with rocky helmet. SD game I was slow start and he took fan rotom prize. Second game, he tried to stall as much as possible, but I grabbed enough Turn 3.

This guy was awesome to chat with, got some good regional lessons/ideas from him. We had two great fights back and forth, unfortunately game 3 I had another Dreepy lead, draw attach pass. Need to think about this as it happened in 4 of 20 games and I got punished 2 times.

Round 7 - LWL Bolt

Round 6 - LL Gardy
I felt off this game. Maybe it was the nerve of being 3-1-1 and needed 2/3 wins for day 2 and it could realistically happen. They also ran 3 munki, so they could move 90 and hit for 190 with Gardy if they needed.

Round 6 - LL Gardy

Round 4 - WW Pure Dragapult. Poor guy only prized one drakloak, but was never able to evolve as they didn't draw any. Felt bad, but setups were good on me and took quick wins on fez/mew gusts.

All the Gardy players today didn't allow damage to remain on my bench, meaning munki was limited in effectiveness. Game 2 game down to OT, and bossed to take the last two prizes on turn 2.

1-1 Tie Gardy. 1-2-1 overall, kinda disappointed. Played 2 of the top cut, which was unfortunate. Unsure if I could have won this game 2, something just felt off. Gotta work on mental game and focus on the game in front.

R3 0-2 Cereludge, such a rough matchup. Got Briar'd game 1, and couldn't hit hard enough first attack to get ahead.

R2 1-2 Lugia - they had great set ups. Gentleman's agreement on game 3 for prizes, they had game on turn 4 instead of tying on prizes. Might have been able to scizor to get the full win. On to next!

Overall, 2nd/13, +12cp for 52/200. Next up is Cup on the 29th! Really happy with how I played.

Round 4: 0-1 to pult budew. Itchy pollen lock twice, and extremely great lines by them. I had one out and bench locked myself by not keeping space for a heavy ball scyther. Though there was so much energy in the discard and no way to pull it, it might not have mattered.

Round 3: 2-0 over Dialgia Vstar, they star cronos both times but couldn't keep up with the 2-2-2 prize map. Professor Turo worked both times.

Round 2: 1-0 over hydrageon. 35 minute game 1, early kill on stacked up dieno to get some buffer room. Game 2 they couldn't get enough spread damage for 6 prizes.

Game 1: 2-0 over gardy. They prized Ionos game two, and had a slow start game one. Prize checking went well.

Overall it was interesting to see how Bo3 is so different from Bo1! Excited to play that format more often before heading to Milwaukee Regionals in May.

R3 - took a quick 4 prize lead over Gardy + Cresselia. Opponent wanted to finish the game out, so made Scizor active and single prize scores to tick time down. Game 2 started with 10 minutes left, and after a very long turn 0, my opponent couldn't take the remaining 4 prizes on their last turn

R2 - Split 1-1 against dragapult dusknoir. Win game 1 fairly quickly, great setup and hit Dragapult, then Fez and Lumineon with Scizor. Game 2 slower start, but they were able to get damage spread. They closed on OT turn 2 to take 3 prizes and take the tie. Unsure if I could have stalled further.
