Hematite with rutile and smoky quartz. I thought I'd never get this one right!
Prehnite with quartz and babingtonite. The prehnite was painted in watercolor. Then, after that dried, I applied clear tacky glue to it and put a zillion "caviar" glass beads over top of the painting. The small black babingtonite crystals are matte black bugle beads. #mineral #gem #crystal

Yesterday I came upstairs from the basement and looked out the window at my bird feeder. Apparently this hawk had decided to give "bird feeder" a whole new meaning. Well, they have to eat too!

@straczynski.bsky.social JMS my daughter found a weird book called the Codex Seraphianus, and in it are clothes. I am making one of the outfits and suddenly it looks like a Vorlon encounter suit...I mean REALLY looks like it. Did this book inspire you?
