Dynamite atmosphere, so loud. Too bad the product on the field died in the second half. A lot like my Austin FC, honestly. Met some nice younger guys that were having a blast, and had been coming since they were kids. Enjoyed it a lot more than I expected.

1.) (tie) Moor Lane, Salford City FC

I love a little intimate stadium almost as much as I love a cup upset, almost as much as I love a cup upset that’s an absolute thumping. 4-0 victory over League One Leyton Orient. Amazing game, aside from my sprained ankle earlier in the day.

3.) London Road, Peterborough United FC

Another dreary game, a 1-0 loss in the FA Cup. Excellent pre-match atmosphere with good people more than made up for it. Met a rabbit named Peter Burrow which is excellent alliteration. Got free beer from a local brewery. Great afters at a synthwave concert.

4.) Molineux Stadium, Wolverhampton Wanderers

I expected this match to be dull, got exactly what I expected. Worst team in the PL vs the most dysfunctional (Nottingham Forest, 3 managers in half a season). Walked a mile back to my hotel, which didn’t have hot water. Burger van was fantastic though.

Not when it’s attached to an upstairs dentist office it ain’t (I’m in a pub across the street from the culprit in question)
