I gave my daughter a box of dots for one of her last day snacks before braces. She ate the whole box quickly, and now she's telling us ideas for a series of Ryan Reynolds movies where he dies really early in the movie.

Being a flight simmer is so weird.

*Aircraft releases*

*brief pause*

"Holy shit there's like 50 planes lined up to depart Heathrow on Vat Radar. Man, I feel like flying the default glider tonight..."

Slow day at the office; I'm trying to figure out the McDonalds mascots alignment chart. Yep, Grimace is chaotic neutral. He runs the ice cream machine, that's literally the definition of chaotic neutral.

So now that it's out there, I've officially chosen to follow the @ottawaredblacks.com as my choice for CFL team to follow.

Also; it's pretty fun to have a team name be much cooler in French than English, unlike some teams, where it's not great in both language...right, Montreal?!

I feel like the kind of person who parks their cart across the aisle at the grocery store and then pretends that nobody else exists has a chapter in an FBI profilers' manual.

Everyone's hung up on The Claims Adjuster being a rich, Ivy League-educated tech bro, but forget that Batman is just a billionaire's kid with a fear of bats.

You ever watch world events and think "damn, I really hope this doesn't give anyone any bright ideas."

My daughter just explained to me that Grimace is the one who makes the milkshakes, and thus is why the ice cream machine is always broken.

Now it all just makes sense.

I'm trying to figure out how BlueSky figured out how to return me to where I was browsing if I click on a skeet, but every other social media I've ever used either dumps me back at the top of my feed, or randomly somewhere else (hey look, an ad!).

Is anyone else seeing a huge influx of AI picture accounts? I'm blocking them as they pop up in my feed, but man is it annoying.

Am I the only person who pronounces it "blu-ski", and thinks about the friend who seemed to be everywhere on campus all at once, but would always stop what he was doing to come over and say hi?

And after two posts, I have to go make breakfast for my kids. How the hell do you post about things that makes you happy 80 times a day, let alone post about something you hate enough for mold to grow on your walls?

Now excuse me, I'm going to go make breakfast and shitpost about college football

Next is the de Havilland Sea Vixen.

Planned as an all-weather fighter-interceptor to replace the Sea Venom, in Fleet Air Arm tradition, it ended up doing all of the roles. It also had about a 38% loss rate, as seemed to be the norm during those days for Royal Navy fighters

Here we go.

First up is the F7U Cutlass. US Navy fighter. Could carry missiles.

The engines were underpowered, and it did not land on carriers very well.

A Cutlass that had an emergency landing was donated by the Navy to that airport. That's how bad it was.

I'm going to try something this weekend.

I've seen people like Graham Linehan and Joanne Murray spend an exceptionally inordinate amount of time posting about other peoples' sexual organs.

I have no interest in other peoples' sexual organs.(1 of ???)

I interacted with a singularity that suddenly appeared in my bedroom. Doing so caused my body to split into two beings, each a different side of my personality. A great light suddenly flooded the room, with a golden voice.

Here's how that experience taught me about B2B medical device sales...

It's always fun when you meet someone who likes Monty Python, and you say that you're a Mr. F.G. Superman supporter, and they mention they're big fans of the Knights Who Say Ni.

And you realize that you've reached advanced dorkness.

Does anyone know the ratio of BlueSky likes to reddit points? I ask because I have no idea what these are for.

I know reddit allows for points to be redeemed. I sent away for a boombox by spending a bunch of points, but never got the boombox. I wasn't scammed, right?
