If you're creating a metaphor in which people, or their personalities, are represented as bodies of water then they might well be navigable. If you are a boat. A boat which is also a person. In short, boats are water.

I am a little disappointed that my Mind Wizards tee doesn't properly signify how ill I am inside. Still, glad to hear you are working (or not) on a design that guarantees a lasting shun.

No, it absolutely doesn't. A reasonable understanding of this could be achieved by looking at technical manuals, user manuals, magazines and trade press from the 1982 onwards, and by references to users from that era. Not flapping your floppy out like you did there.

Invasion of another sovereign nation is not well described as authoritarianism, which is generally used to describe domestic rule where executive power is used to oppress the citizenry (or a section thereof). It would be better described as interventionist.

Increasing economic disparity, the pollution of the sphere of journalism by corporate diktat and shameless favour-currying, destruction of consensus reality, dissolution of the apparatus of state, US-sanctioned support of strongman despots, rise in support for fascist nativism...all his faves.

As much as Hitchens's views on some matters, abortion for example, differed greatly with progressive/radical consensus, he was implacably opposed to fascism and authoritarianism his whole life. The kind of apostasy being suggested here seems wildly improbable.

If Fred Schneider were reading me Miranda as I was being clubbed by cops, or telling me I was going to face a firing squad, I'd still kinda just groove a bit and think - yeah that's just awesome.
When Kiedis opens his mouth, it sucks away all the goodness for miles around.

Despicable callous eugenicists who want to ensure the poor, the ill, the aged and the weak all suffer and die. Unless they're family, then they'll give them the good stuff. Vile monsters.

Good quality ferromagnetic tape, so long as it's stored well, can last well longer than its rated 10-20 years and this has been proven time and again. Watch out for 70s/80s tape - can have sticky-shed syndrome rendering it useless unless it's been baked.

Also used a GX-220D to digitise some recordings of AFVN radio in Saigon in 1970 a few months back. 55 years old and they were clean as a whistle. Old BASF stock rules.
