Immigration issues aren't just a latin American problem, we are just currently the targets of this kind of discrimination. "They steal our cultures", a taco with celebratory Cinco de Mayo text, despite the fact that that's not really a holiday in Mexico, canned Boba and Starbuck's popping pearls. Colonized brand Hummus with Falafel, and nacho cheese tipped over. This is not about sharing cultural foods, this is about white people/colonizers taking our foods and claiming that they're the best, yes I'm talking about chipotle. "Our Food" a restaurant kitchen, silver and shiny, a black man works hard to reheat the food, above him, an OSHA sign and to the right a sign that only says "English ONLY". The chef's shirt has a chili, snd the words White Washed on it.
