I have no inside info on @karenattiah.bsky.social's case. But I know Post employees are part of @postguild.bsky.social, and their contract allows the union to challenge "disciplinary action on the basis that is was taken without just cause."

You know an official knows they blew a call when they don't toss a player for arguing the way Pete Crow-Armstrong just did. Only reason he's still in the game is because that umpire knows he fucked up. And he did--that was maybe the worst check swing call I can remember. Ever.

Especially bitter for adjunct faculty getting paid pennies on the dollar, and for campus service workers whose jobs are getting outsourced left and right. I'm sure this happens in non-higher-ed workplaces too, but I don't work in any of those. :)
