Americans have their own ideas about what’s right and how things are supposed to go. You can see it all over the country as ICE agents come into our communities. Maybe the administration should watch The American Revolution on PBS. We really don’t like being told what’s what. We The People decide!

I have this horrid fear that we are one step away from blue states having to check vaccination records at the border. And then what happens if blue states elect republican governors? Do all of our protections go away? This is nuts.

I do not believe I have ever received a political statement from social security prior to today. I had heard it was coming but was still shocked to receive it. It is not only inappropriate, it is a clear attempt to sway opinion, and it is completely wrong to do. I am not swayed, but I am offended.

So R’s get a sound bite saying BBB is bad so they can use it for reelection then they vote against it, just like they touted the infrastructure bill in their districts after they voted against it. BBB will take away health care, snap, and fund ICE beyond all reason. Cruel and unusual punishment.

In the movie Independence Day, there comes a moment when it is clear to the characters that the aliens are like a swarm of locusts who will consume all resources and then move on. I can’t help but feel that this is what is happening to us now. We are being consumed to then be left as a nation dead.

If we had to go to war tonight to save our country and our way of life we would lose. The senate has illuminated the level of courage in our leadership. They clearly care more for their own skins than the lives of our military or of the people of our nation. Now there’s more to fear than fear itself

Today has been a hard day. I have trouble accepting that we are here. It’s like a children’s book. Go around again. I can’t really bear it. So many in public life have let the people down. I fear for all of us and the madman is incapable of caring for us. He will consume all and still not be full.

The pardon of Hunter isn’t about the law. It’s about politics. Hunter would never have been dealt with the way he was if it had been strictly about the law. This is a political solution to a political problem. It doesn’t make Hunter innocent. It just stops the political persecution via legal cover.
