Bad Tabby Designs is bold contemporary chainmail jewelry. Every piece is made by hand using traditional weaves, but tailored for everyday wear. My goal is to challenge the perception of chainmail and bring it into the modern world, one piece at a time.
Today is the last day at the Landmark Center! Here are some detail photos of the marvelous woodwork in this building!

Today’s piece: a slinky 16-gauge stainless steel bracelet in Comet Weave. I first saw the pattern from Josh Diliberto and had to try it myself. The movement is addictive—part jewelry, part fidgetable art.

Workshop Wednesday: Copper has been showing up a lot in the studio, and since pure copper clasps aren’t easy to source, I craft them myself. Each hook clasp is hammered, soldered, shaped, and polished by hand—strong, secure, and made to complement the finished piece.

Today’s piece is a monster of a bracelet—dual-row Byzantine in heavy 16-gauge copper, segmented with larger intervals and finished with a copper slide-lock clasp. Big. Bold. Beautiful.

Today’s piece is the smaller companion to Tuesday’s Orc Weave necklace—still punk, still spiked, but more refined and understated. A perfect subtle flex.

✨ Workshop Wednesday! product photography! I tried building a new top-support system so earrings can be photographed without that pesky black bar in the shot. It’s better—but not perfect.

Got suggestions? Always open to smarter solutions!
