But the Multiplayer was where it was at. Either versus races on the tracks, or the battle modes in the few, but fun arenas that pitted players against each other for balloon knockouts.
For being a launch game for the N64, this game had no business being this damn good.

Oh, the MUSIC. This is one of those games whose OST I go back to now just to feed my nostalgia brain. So many good tracks.
And the race tracks, too. They are iconic. Especially since a good few of them got vamped into Halo: Cursed Edition for Halo Kart. Yes, that is a thing that happened.
