Thanks to Brodie, I've caught up on the Linux Rust drama. Should Asahi exist at all, if it kills battery life? Sometimes clever people end up wasting time or even creating problems by figuring out how to fix something that shouldn't exist in the first place.

Bluesky really embraces the principle of "a picture is worth 1,000 words". 4 pictures can take up 4M bytes, or 1M characters, 100K words. Yet there's a 300 character limit for text. Pictures take up 2-3x the area on the timeline.
