Power literally alters your brain. It destroys your ability to empathize with others. They’ve done studies on it. It’s facts.

I’ve spent my entire life trying to say “I don’t care” like he does in the tunnel and still haven’t cracked it

Frankly, I am shocked that my boss who is the living embodiment of evil didn’t give me a health insurance.

"No more social justice" lol

I agree on the policy. You may be underrating how easily influenced we are by one another. Some people need to be shown the way and that can only be done through action.

True. My point is "Do as I say, not as I do" is not effective either. We need people to lead by example.

Yeah I know, but I'm saying I don't think his presidency is possible without his understanding of our media environment and people seeing him on TV all the time.

Maybe we are saying the same thing then. I think Hollywood participates in the same kind of elitism that many of the rich and powerful do. Private this, private that. I'm too good to be amongst the people. Talk a good game but don't live by it.

He's a reality tv president. I don't think his rise is possible without it.
February 2, 2026 at 3:35 PM
Yeah don't disagree with that. Just saying he's got a point.

I mean if nothing else -- Trump himself is a product of the entertainment industry.
February 2, 2026 at 3:23 PM
Honestly though -- he's kind of right? Hard to hear lectures from Hollywood considering they're totally complicit in the kind of culture that got us here.

These are the same people that advocate for climate change while taking private jets everywhere...

Interested to see how he blames Biden for this.

To me, the big takeaway of the last 15-20 years is that we have to do this ourselves. It’s not about electing the perfect candidate — it’s about electing candidates we can pressure and then getting in their ass constantly to hold them accountable. The work can’t stop after the election.

A lot at stake here... On the one hand, pad your resume and you risk getting banned from future xAI employment. On the other hand, 40 dollars. 40!

Kenneth's mom and Ron were criminally underused. So damn funny.

Thank you for sharing this. This actually made me feel way better than the headlines I was seeing.

You know you’re really winning a negotiation when you barely scrape back what you already had.

Imagine thinking you’re an icon because you married a rapist and wore a dumb hat.
January 30, 2026 at 4:20 AM
There’s something almost worse about pretending you care when you clearly fucking don’t.

I’m not saying Dems aren’t better than the alternative. They definitely are. I’m just saying they’re not great either. And often play dead to get what their real constituents (the donor class) really want.
