In light of the fact that FOTUS had a literal nazi at his rally, I will post this picture again.
This is my father's family around 1930. Nearly every person in this photo, including my grandparents, were murdered by the nazis.

He was a gifted and wonderful artist that inspired our imagination. Makes me a little sad.

I’ve been seeing a lot of posts about people watching the West Wing for the next four years. And while it’s a great show, although I never got into it, people really need to be watching the first season of the Newsroom.

I have a friend that I've known since childhood. He told me that he was a physicist specializing in Photon Science Development. I have no idea what that is. I don't even pretend to understand it. But here's the thing.

I was driving my daughter to work this morning and she was talking about wanting to buy a new winter coat but the one she was thinking about would cost an arm and a leg.
So I said, well, then, you only need half the jacket since you’ll only have one arm.

Having grown up in San Francisco, I spent a lot of time in LA. I hung out in Pasadena. I hung out in Malibu. My heart is just totally broken for everyone down there. As someone pointed out, there is no NorCal or SoCal right now. There is only California.
