Can we all start pushing our Senators and Senate Candidates to commit to not voting for Schumer as Democratic Leader in the next Senate? If they were asked by enough of their constituents, maybe it would make a dent in what feels like a solid wall around this feckless weakling.
Hey @govpressoffice.gov.ca.gov ... is it your contention that it's OK to taunt people for being gay? Or just the gays who use grindr? Either way... you certainly sound like a schoolyard bully from the 80s. Not a great look. Do better.
Everyone; the former deputy director of the FBI.
Look who's willing to dis Bongino (now that he left the FBI).

FFS ... if this clearly broken and compromised jerk doesn't know that Iran is the way it is because of US trying to choose their leaders for them... he really should be barred from office.

A healthy democracy would punish this kind of stupidity with obsolescence... not a senate seat.

I guess I'm in the group of Americans who are not surprised at any of what he's done and is waiting for enough of the other Americans to realize this is what was always going to happen when you put a comic book villain in charge of your country. Still struggling to understand anyone's surprise.

Why do people that refuse to learn from history get constantly put in power in this country? This kind of foreign intervention has NEVER ended well for us or the country we fuck up.

And, we used to have significantly more competent governance, so this is likely to get even MORE stupid.

I am so glad I don't live in the US anymore, but this kind of idiotic nonsense is so tedious. What happened to states rights my supposedly-conservative friends? So...you only meant "conservative states" rights? We don't need your culture of perpetual fear in California.

Vaffanculo a tutti voi.

Went to the produce stand here in Capitola. At the checkout they had those "Dubai" chocolates with pistachio in them. Friends, they were $22.50. For a single chocolate bar.

I asked him if they sold a lot, and he kinda rolled his eyes and said "surprisingly, yes."

This country has lost it's mind.

It's been 20 years since the CA Republican Party had someone I could consider voting for (Bruce McPherson for Sec. of State). Seems he left the party long ago...because he was never a jerk.

Anyway, the Republican party is dead to me. They will never get my vote again no matter that they do or say.

So, a Trump-class Battleship would....

1. Float into a port and just release an unending stream of raw sewage.
2. Meanwhile it will blast a pre-recorded message screaming "WHY AREN'T YOU THANKING ME FOR THIS GIFT OF RAW SEWAGE?"
3. Banners saying "what sewage?" and "The sewage is a lie"
...

Seems just a bit on the nose.

STEP message from the State Dept. for Americans in Italy. They say this like it's not 10x more dangerous in the USA. Such bullshit. It's almost like our Secretary of State is completely divorced from reality and over his head in a position no healthy democracy would let him any where near. hmmmm...

This is what happens when your government is run by petty asshole bigot bullies. What utter pieces of shit these maga people are. Fuck all the way off.
do you know how much some of these authority figures would freak out if you did not address them by their chosen titles or names?

I sure don't remember Speaker Pelosi whining about having too much work to do. And she did more than just follow a mad man's orders and answer every press question with "i haven't heard about that."

Little Marco has always been a bit of a weenie. But this Russian plan he's presenting as his own is the most weeniest thing a weenie has ever weenied.

Did the whole accidentally invading Mexico thing not make the news? I've been back in the US for three hours and have told three people who had not heard about it.

Are we assuming they just make any numbers up now? Is anyone checking their work?

FFS. The DOJ can see MY phone records for 50 grand. But I guess I'd have to have be investigated in connection to an attempt to overthrow an election to qualify for the big payouts. Away with this nonsense.

I took this picture in Bratislava many years ago, but it does pop up in my head fairly regularly.
November 17, 2025 at 7:18 PM
Is there anything stopping DOJ from just incinerating any parts of the E files they don't like? Obviously the law isn't a deterrent for these folks ... so since they have them in their possession I assume they've compromised them ages ago.

When two awful people are fighting publicly, you do not have to pick a side. You can just step back and hope that in the end they both lose.

I want the best, most honest, and trustworthy auditor in the country to be given the power to form a team and find out how much of our money he's given to his friends or used for his own purposes. A full report. I'll vote for the candidate who says they'll do everything legal to get it all back.

So... are there any sane people with the power to stop a war with Venezuela? People actually inclined to do so?
November 14, 2025 at 9:50 PM
So...I guess Venezuela is going to suffer the consequences of the epstein files being released? He's going to actually go to war hoping we will forget? He's wrong, btw.

I'm always shocked when this Supreme Court does the right thing, though I assume they're just biding their time for a stronger case so they can really overturn the whole idea of letting us marry. Also...to misquote the mayor-elect of NY, let this be the last time we hear her name.

Well, it sure LOOKS like they caved.
