Including her doggo, who was crated downstairs. He was alone and at one point wading half a foot of cold River water to try and get as much as possible. He’s definitely our hero!! We were both trapped at work.

We have two story homes, with majority of living space upstairs. Houses can be repaired, loss of furniture, lawn equipment and some personal items on first floors and in storage buildings. Overall we are thankful. My husband was home and was able to save about 90% of my daughter’s stuff.

So if the flooding was because it’s a red state, unfortunately the river didn’t get the memo that I’m fiercely liberal. Knew I should’ve reminded it.

A doctor I know posted vaccine info and someone replied asking for proof vaccines don’t cause autism. A chorus of like four local doctors chimed in with evidence based medicine … it was glorious to see. Not that the original poster will read any of it.
