The one in Wilmington was my grandma’s favorite, to the point that the staff recognized her. We took her last Xmas and it very suddenly and unceremoniously closed less than a week later 😔

At my old house, the squirrels yelled at me whenever I sat on the front porch because I was too close to their favorite tree. They’re NOT afraid to let you know how they feel.

I’ve been mourning the loss of their frozen pesto pizza with tomatoes and broccoli for years 😔

they were doing their jobs and now they just have to live with that. (and, presumably, go back to that very same job or quit and find a new one.)

speaking of mental health - I hope our public transit workers receive some kind of support. I'm thinking specifically of the driver of yesterday's hijacked bus who was forced to drive at gunpoint, and the conductor of the MARTA train who hit and killed someone laying on the tracks last week.
