Lots of tech examples in the NFL alone- tracked visuals on tv broadcasts like the line to gain for downs, RFID tags to track player movements & ball positioning, player mic’d ups, recovery, Sony's Hawkeye camera system for replay, advanced metrics/analytics (see NFL's Big Data Bowl), etc.

imo (totally not biased at all), expanding on sports tech could be super interesting & provide a lot of insight for many sports fans. maybe worth a short WVFRM segment about big tech's continued reach into sports/ live entertainment (e.g. YouTube broadcasting a primetime Week 1 divisional game 😉)
