To be fair he started in the cellar so he is now in the sub-basement. No other White House occupant started with so little and yet he sunk even lower.

The DOJ conducted an investigation. The result of the investigation was four grand jury indictments against trump. He appealed claiming presidential immunity and the Supreme Court ruled in his favor. The Supreme Court was not ruling against themselves.

I don't think you understand how the impeachment process works. After the House votes to impeach the Senate holds a trial after which they vote to find him guilty or acquit him. The entire Senate wasn't on trial and nobody was being arrested.

Nope. Republicans in the Senate should not have acquitted him after being impeached for Jan 6. The Supreme Court should not have partially ruled in his favor about Presidential Immunity after the grand jury indictments Jack Smith was able to get in his election fraud and Jan 6 case.
