If the stock market is involved then Valve, Steam, and every game on it isn't capitalism because Valve is a private company.

Like the reason most people even know about it was because it came free with the GameBoy in '89, but you had to BUY a GameBoy.

A game made in Russia in 1988 being distributed on floppy disks wouldn't exactly mean it would spread very easily. At least not for another decade at least.
