Here for TTRPG takes, sports and commentary on the fallen nature of the world.
It’s purgatory, not hell, of course they’re into it! Probably howling “burn the sin out of me with your purifying flames, Lord!”

Never seen a gaysistor in a circuit diagram.

Semiconductors are patently trans.

Saying system doesn’t matter is like saying buildings don’t need scaffolding or that I don’t need a map to find my way home from work.

These are people who think Risk is a grand strategy game.

The Pats had already been to TWO Super Bowls by that point, including one in the previous decade.

I thought I was very clear that the vines were made with pointille, which IS NOT ENGRAVING.

I don’t care if you think it’s arbitrary, your Druid still can’t wear plate mail, Ken.

Texas will keep Arch around indefinitely if he beats the Sooners and Aggies every year.

The National Army Museum discusses the actual military actions (effectively riot suppression) of the War on Christmas here:

The war on Christmas
In 1647, Christmas was almost cancelled as the Long Parliament and its army tried to banish all festivities that smacked against the sober Puritan values of the period.

There was a war on Christmas. It was launched in the 17th century England by Christians who thought it promoted drinking and indulgence.

In an ideal world, all workers should have protections, and fired workers, even gutter racists, would have universal basic income to rely upon.

In the real world, this ain’t the time to bemoan that we don’t have strong worker protections.
December 13, 2025 at 2:27 PM
Based on stories I have heard of worker rights in societies where they actually exist, she should have been placed on paid leave till management had a clear idea of what happened, then fired.

As a Texas fan I honestly would rather miss the playoff with wins over the Sooners and Aggies than get in with them as the only two losses.

At least in the dystopian future that results “I’d buy that for a dollar!” in response to idiotic statements would never be a non-sequitur.

It’s worse than that—any system dedicated to reaching the most in need must tolerate some number of false positives. If you make VA disability and mental health benefits too difficult to access, the suicidally depressed vets you’re trying to reach will be hedged out more effectively than scammers.
December 3, 2025 at 4:25 PM
No, this shit is worse, because it often makes people who need accommodations feel guilty, like they’re cheating the system or something. It’s closer to people making you feel guilty for taking pain medication after you fracture your pelvis.

Has your DM renamed mimics in your campaign to Ricos just to troll you yet?

I really needed you guys for my last Mutant City Blues campaign.

We got two sessions in before I realized nobody else had watched enough Law and Order to play a police procedural RPG.

The Poisoner’s Handbook is basically a monster-of-the-week horror show of real monsters.

At some point the cover-up gets so egregious avoiding full disclosure isn’t an option.
