There is no need for the National Guard in DC or any city they occupy. There is NO EMERGENCY! They have their own Police Department, experienced in urban crime and terrorism. Trump is deploying the National Guard unnecessarily and for show and he is defying a court order by keeping them in DC.

Hardly the fireside chat you would expect from a President of the United States. Was that heartwarming for you? Was it uplifting? Did it inspire & give you hope? I found none of these in this rambling, bigoted, angry rant you would expect from someone in a strait jacket as they are being led away.
