I hated the discourse (as I know you did), but I thought that both the fans and haters of Superman were annoying as shit about it and I decided to just continue loving Man of Steel AND Superman and let everyone else be wrong because what else is new.

Also the direct and obvious parallel to Israel vs Palestine as opposed to the world eating villain was nice. I like both but being timely gave Supes a boost as opposed to an ever relevant but vague depiction of cartoonish selfishness.

Both the same messages essentially but I liked that Supes presented a more realistic world and showed him doing what's right anyway, even if the cool fantasy world where everyone does what's right was a nice idea with cool aesthetics

I love both and generally don't feel a need to compare but THINK I liked Supes more
