and by god i am always revisiting the same concepts in my own personal work as well. i know musical artists have a different set of tools but the ability to reuse and rework things seems even more valuable there!

i hope you're able to begin healing from that mindset! 🙏 revisiting concepts, themes, even colors over and over is one of my favorite parts of my school experience. I've made a few blue, yellow, orange, and purple celestial themed things this year and i will keep doing it.

i can see the idea of just resubmitting something you already made wholesale for an assignment being a form of academic dishonesty, but reusing concepts or recycling old work shouldn't be considered self-plagiarism.
