As someone who is engaged in youth work on a voluntary basis, I'm seeing a trend towards less engagement and I contribute at least part of that to that it's so easy to sit back and consume rather than step up and produce. So if there will be fewer TV shows, I'm hoping something good comes out of it.

What's the best way for the common man to lower his emission contribution? Let's say I commute with an electric car 20+20 miles per day. Is it taking the bus instead? Or skip flying? Or lowering temperature in my house?
