[PART 1/3] Hands On- #spamtenna post-canon comic, some ways down the line after making peace but before doing much beyond that. An e-mail gets to recognize himself and a TV gets to recognize the other.

Posting the rest as I finish it - fair warning for more adult jokes later on 🫡

First page of a comic titled "Hands on" featuring the Spamtenna pairing (Spamton and Tenna) from Deltarune, implied to take place in the future post-canon. Spamton is shown walking up some stairs to emerge on a rooftop balcony in what is likely Castle town. He removes a cigarette and a lighter from his pockets, both noticeably overly large in his transformed puppet-body hands. As he goes to spark the lighter with his thumb, his joints lock up and make cracking sounds - this being something he's clearly used to, as he gets ticked off and tries to stubbornly force his hand through the motion anyways, resulting in a painful snap of the joints and him accidentally dropping the lighter and loudly cursing.

Spamton has fallen to his knees, both the lighter and cigarette forgotten on the floor in front of him as he painfully clutches at his trembling injured right hand, the thumb seemingly locked into a painful straight position. With speech quirk simplified for descriptive purposes, he's shouting - "piece of hot garbage! Why can't can't can't you just work life balance!". He's interrupted by Tenna shouldering through the door behind him with a questioning "Mailman?", the TV darkener looking concerned. Tenna continues with "I didn't hear you get back - what happened?" as he tries to reach towards Spamton, who pulls his injured hand close to his chest, attempting to hide it. A vision of just his dealmaker glasses in a glitchy void threatens - "damaged goods! don't give him ammo", and Spamton immediately attempts to launch into a misdirection, laughing and responding to Tenna with "Sweet treats of you to worried, but"

Tenna interrupts Spamton's attempt at misdirection by putting his hand on his shoulder and gently pressures him by saying "Hey- we agreed, right? No more secrets this time?". Spamton contemplates his, looking down at his injured hand in its messed up state, thumb still trembling in pain. He clenches it into a fist, which seems to hurt further but grounds him. He finally responds to Tenna with a defeated "Yeah, you're right on the money".

As Tenna leans over Spamton, waiting for further explanation, Spamton extends his injured hand out into Tenna's view, looking resigned. He explains - "It's my joint ventures, ever since I becomed a puppet. They keep get more bang - b - b - worse. With time." Tenna reaches out with his own hand towards Spamton's, his palm absolutely dwarfing Spamton's puppet hand in size. He asks for permission to examine it further with a - "can I, please?", Spamton agreeing to it but immediately getting startled by Tenna choosing to completely envelop his hand in his much bigger palm as an attempt to steady it. Tenna seems to also pick up on the immediate mood shift as his screen tints towards pink and he momentarily pauses with an "ah" before pushing through to ask about Spamton's hand joints - "um, have you ever, uh.. oiled them?". This prompts another shift in mood as static fills Spamton's vision and he pauses, remembering an image of himself before his puppet transformation - his more organic addison darkener form, smiling as he takes a phone call. The image is specifically focused on the form of Spamton's hand as it was before - natural and elegant, far cry from its current ball-jointed and clumsy state. He finally responds to Tenna's question with a glitchy "no".

Tenna, excited at his own idea, shouts "fear not, my little mailman, because I do have some in my room, haha!" and spontaneously grabs Spamton around his middle, yanking him up into the air while Spamton curses in surprise. The next panel shows Tenna carrying Spamton off the balcony and down the stairs, Spamton's cigarette and lighter left behind on the floor. He looks back at them longingly thinking "my blank space", the blank space implying a three letter word. The next panels show a gradual transition from the dark of the outside to the warm glow of Tenna's room. Spamton is seated on the table, looking down at his trembling injured hand and calling a quiet "F1". Tenna is sitting next to Spamton at his desk chair, contemplating the label of the oil bottle he's picked up.

As Spamton's little mini angel version of himself heals his hand for a single health point, Tenna turns to him sheepishly and says - "this might be just a pinch too heavy duty for you, but if we only use a little bit..?" Spamton responding with "sure. it can't it hurts! more than it already dose". With this permission, Tenna says "Marvelous! Let's keep you still just a moment, then.." and gently takes Spamton's injured hand in one of his, tilting it up to the light and carefully pressing the nozzle of the oil bottle to one of the thumb joints. He continues on to another joint successfully, but on the third one Spamton's hand twitches involuntarily and Tenna goes "oopsie daisy!" as he lets a bit too much of the oil escape the nozzle, which leaks over Spamton's hand. Spamton immediately starts laughing and makes fun of Tenna with a joking innuendo- "having some early maturity debt problems, boob tube?". Tenna, surprised and instantly flustered at the implication, shouts "what - SPAMMY! Shut up!" while accidentally clenching his grip on the oil bottle with all his strength, this causing the nozzle to violently erupt with excess oil. As Spamton keeps laughing, Tenna becomes embarrassed and lets out a quiet "oh" as he notices that his hand is now covered in dripping oil.

Eighth page of the Spamtenna comic continuing from the previous image. It's Spamton's turn to be flustered, instantly ceasing laughter and snapping his mouth shut with a clack as Tenna, embarassed and moody over his mistake and with static and a blush filling his screen, leans his head fully on Spamton's shoulder, turning the scene much more intimate and familiar than expected. Tenna proceeds to whine, nuzzling even further into Spamton's shoulder - "ugh, can you help me clean this up, please?" while Spamton seems to be having trouble staying unaffected, a bright blush beginning to spread over his face. He accidentally lets slip the beginning half of an advertising quote - "anything for your" and instantly freezes up at how forward that sounds relative to their currently strictly friends relationship. Spamton claps his good hand over his mouth and looks up at Tenna in fear of having overstepped, thinking "too much!" as the tv darkener rises up in surprise, looming over the puppet. Tenna lets out an aborted "any" followed by a brief pause as he processes it, then continues with "say that again, please.." as he crowds into Spamton's space, blushing bright and taking hold of Spamton's hands to bring them out of his defensive gesture. Somewhere during this moment the oil bottle has been dropped, forgotten. Spamton, not expecting Tenna's enthusiastic reaction, thinks "what what what", flustering even further.

Continuation of the quoted post. Ninth page of a comic titled "Hands on" featuring the Spamtenna pairing (Spamton and Tenna) from Deltarune, implied to take place in the future post-canon. After Tenna's demand for Spamton to repeat saying "anything for you", Tenna is gently pulling the extremely flustered puppet darkener closer to his screen, tilting his head up slightly with a finger under his jaw. Spamton is wide eyed and blushing furiously, but manages to brokenly stammer out an "anything" before instantly getting interrupted by Tenna pulling him in for a smothering kiss. Spamton's oil covered hand drags a stain across the side of Tenna's monitor as he clutches on for dear life, while Tenna makes a similar mess of Spamton's jacket. Sparks are literally flying from Tenna's antennas, and he billows out pink puffs of steam from his vents as they kiss. Abruptly, Tenna yanks Spamton away at arm's length as he remembers the context of the situation, questioning out loud - "ah! sorry, sorry, your hand?". Spamton, in the meanwhile, looks absolutely out of it, his hair a poofy and jagged mess from the static electricity of being pressed against Tenna's screen, his hands still absentmindedly reaching back towards Tenna.

Spamton's hair is still standing up at all angles from the static, with faint zaps and electric discharges popping in the air around him. He's also manifested some heart emoji displays hanging in the air. He laughs - "my hands on? never better deals!" with an extra heavy glitch effect around his textbox. Tenna snorts in fond amusement at the sight, asking "you sure you know what you're talking about?" as a blush fills his screen and a flower begins to bloom at the end of his nose. This sobers Spamton up slightly as he briefly yanks on one of Tenna's antennae, saying "low blow, cathode" and squinting with annoyance at the tv darkener for teasing him about his mental state. Tenna sticks his tongue out at him but does offer a "sorry" while Spamton refocuses on his previously injured hand, looking it over and testing the range of motion in the thumb, which now seems to move a lot more smoothly. He adds - "it does don't wait, make the moves! better now, though"

Eleventh page of the Spamtenna comic continuing from the previous image. As Spamton contemplates his hand feeling a lot better, he lapses into silence, thinking to himself - "almost smooth ride enough to...". It's implied the increased range of motion is getting him a lot closer to feeling like his hand is his own, as in his mind's eye he's seeing his current puppet hand side by side with his previous addison form's hand, the two held in the same clenched position. As he begins unfurling his fingers, the afterimage of his addison hand disappears, the slight glow and iridescent reflections of the vision merging into Spamton's view of his current puppet hand. It's not quite fully there yet, but he's beginning to be able to recognize it as his. Tenna interrupts his thoughts by calling his name, the TV darkener worrying over the sudden silence and pulling Spamton closer to his chest and trying to comfort him by saying - "I'm sorry you had to endure that all alone for so long, but now we can figure it out together! Starting with me doing the rest of the joints - if you feel like it helps...". He also quietly adds "even though I'm not very good at it, haha" at the end, referencing the oil bottle spill from earlier.

Twelfth page of the Spamtenna comic continuing from the previous image. Spamton gently reaches up to caress the side of Tenna's face and asks him - "sure you want to get your hands dirty, big shot?". From Tenna's point of view, he's seeing Spamton smiling up at him tenderly, and an afterimage of Spamton's big shot era look is just barely visible to the side - their expressions almost perfectly mirrored. Tenna fully sees the man he has known for so long despite all the changes he's gone through. He reaches out to touch Spamton's oil covered hand with his own, interlacing their fingers as they lean close to each other in a tender embrace, Tenna responding - "I don't mind it as long as I've got my precious co-star back by my side!". In the bottom corner of the image, a small Spamton angel is carrying a banner saying "fin".
