The dj on the MIT station just went on a gorgeous tangent about how this semester he’s taking all liberal arts classes, and instead of asking him to reproduce established knowledge (as in most MIT courses) they push him to think about how he thinks.

My Super Bowl MVP.

Anyone else notice that this year's Super Bowl logo seems to subtly nod to the rainbow flag?

The athletes calling for a better America — or even saying they represent the best aims of America — are more truly patriotic than JD Vance could ever claim to be.

Nika Prevc seems absolutely devastated :(

I follow ski jumping closely enough that I knew Nika Prevc was the best in the world at the moment, but the fact that she can have a shitty jump and still be barely out of the lead is testament to *just* how good she is.

Nobody respected institutional knowledge anymore. It's why the GOP has to brute force everything, they chased away anyone who did it any other way. It even understood their power and authority.

I really hate that Peacock is aggressively allergic to Linux, all I can watch Olympics on is my TV and that's frustrating when there are multiple events on I want to watch at once.

Why not, like, light the actual cauldron with actual fire from the actual torch instead of this push-a-button shit?

Patriotism is a progressive value. Glad to see more taking up the cause.

The summer Olympics is just to see how fit you are the winter Olympics basically try not to die while throwing yourself down a mountain. I mean the summer Olympics have gymnastics, which is also dangerous but the winter games has things like luge.

Jesus Christ, at a certain point Gen Z has *got* to give up on this weird combination of antipathy and malaise that seems to be the only way so many of them are capable of engaging with politics.
This is a bold position for a voter guide to take

I’ve noticed a lot of the lefty opsec pervs on here are the same ones constantly calling for a general strike and, like

if you are serious about encouraging collective action that requires cooperation and minimization of personal risk through mass mobilization…maybe stop trying to scare the hoes?

This isn't abolition, but this includes a lot of good demands. Prohibiting Kavanaugh stops that the Court expressly allowed, requiring state consent for large operations, allowing states to sue DHS for any violations (!)

Oh, and removing Kristi Noem.
