I don't believe him either, but leftists(myself included) in America have been screaming about due process for immigrants. I can't stand hypocrites, especially the ones above us, but we aren't going to fix our systems if we act just like those who break them. We need to do more for sure though.

While I extremely despise the president, the line "if he's innocent then he has nothing to hide" is the kind of line that's used to justify mass surveillance. Trump has a right to defend himself, he's just choosing 2do it in a way that makes him look incredibly guilty. May truth and justice come out
