Absolutely! We make inch and a half steak in there all the time. Preseason, vacuum seal, and it cooks all the way through. Then a quick sear on each side and you've got a perfect steak every time.

We love ours, we got the Ninja crock pot with a sous vide setting to maximize counter space. It's nice to make a meal that you know is cooked but still tender.
