If you don't learn from history, you're doomed to repeat it. That involves admitting you were wrong once in a while, and a little contrition. "challenging historical narratives and contemporary politics" or whatever tedious trite floats your whistle
Uh, the same one that John used? YouGov?

If this is a bit its even more bizarre than cherry picking one question to ignore the overwhelming evidence that Tony Blair is a deeply unpopular figure.

Yeah and tbh, I reckon across the wider political class, that hatred is still pretty widespread; that's why they're so eager to believe it's still so rife. It ofc also ranks way below their hatred of other groups and the utility of using it as a club.

Did Emily and Jon ask if Putin simply decided to "sod the red tape"?

All very hollow isn't it, the idea that either of these people have any principles whatsoever. You might also draw useful conclusions about what 'sod the red tape' has always meant, but I expect it will be beyond this audience.

It is amazing how you fanatics just state things that simply are not true.

The Israeli occupation of Gaza and the West Bank has been recognised internationally as illegal for longer than I have been alive. Legally, you are simply stating things that you know to not be true.
December 11, 2025 at 4:40 PM
Sure, I'd say the same. A bar so low that Satan would stub his toe.
December 11, 2025 at 4:34 PM
Well if you want to go looking at the polls John, here are some that I don't think you'll acknowledge.

Incidentally a bizarre (and inaccurate) dig at Starmer, particularly anyone with a memory of how punditry actually greeted the former 'heir to Blair' and his sweeping majority.
December 11, 2025 at 4:31 PM
Tony Blair of course, a very popular figure amongst the British public.
December 11, 2025 at 4:16 PM
Nah. Military is right there already if that was the case.
December 11, 2025 at 1:54 PM
James there isnt really interested in anything but the typical nasty Starmerista talk.
December 11, 2025 at 8:48 AM
Dumb as fuck on a purely objective level
December 11, 2025 at 7:54 AM
Good old skyr gobbler/spoon licker
December 11, 2025 at 7:48 AM
The sheer fucking irony of you
December 11, 2025 at 7:43 AM
I love these patronising rants because quite obviously Democrats like you aren't trying to ensure the least worst person gets into power or noone would ever have even considered running a crumbling and vulnerable Biden for a second term.

The dissonance, the hypocrisy, the tedium.
December 11, 2025 at 7:42 AM
Funny, I recall Biden was also the dem candidate.

Keep trying to blame a vulnerable minority for your mistakes. Never learn anything. Never change.
December 11, 2025 at 7:38 AM
Its amazing how openly racist you freaks are and how you pretend Dems didnt consider doing exactly the same thing with UNRWA.

Youre fixated on it. You only care about the suffering to attack an ethnicity for daring to ask you for something better than polite complicity.

Redwood is actually the most normal of all them in that hes a bog standard soulless money man, whilst the other two care more about hateful bullshit.

What a world.
December 11, 2025 at 7:28 AM
We already have a hierarchy of racism, and a hierarchy of class.

Id thank the Guardian for its active support for Starmer, but the truth is it was never for the man - it was for this. For making sure there are lesser people to look down on.
December 11, 2025 at 7:25 AM
Tom Newton Dunn. The lads all collectively agreed to ignore that, so the only traces of it are a single Guardian column and some oblique references and then varied Left wing blogs.

It definitely harmed his career, but it couldnt be allowed to harm the message.
December 11, 2025 at 7:21 AM
Oh lets grow up please? None of this playground nonsense about longing for the return of Boris.

Of course press bias is a reality and isn't denied. I'm talking about hypocrisy, and only the most childish people have a tantrum over such things. Yet here we are.
December 10, 2025 at 1:56 PM
Who's pretending otherwise? Reeves etc are the ones who are happy with that set up and take action to make sure it stays that way. Right until they change the deal and then it's all so unfair.

A manufactured scandal? Deja vu.
