Right? National! Shakespeare theater! Round house! Arena stage! Ford’s! Atlas! And many in northern Virginia and Maryland I’ll run out of characters to reel off (my heart to Center Stage in Baltimore personally) like I detest what’s happening at the Kennedy but the region has plenty more theater

Mine fell asleep at 5pm and I had such hopes that meant she was exhausted and would sleep until tomorrow morning but lol joke was on Mommy she’s awake now at 11pm with a snack of a shot glass of shredded cheese (“meals” today: 1/2 slice of bacon, two mini-KitKats, a solitary bite of scrambled egg)

My daughter and her little friend (3) were playing this game with the dog yesterday! But with jumping in place, still seeing who could scream/bark loudest into the other’s face (the children barked for the dog too, didn’t want her to feel left out) I don’t know who won but my hearing lost?

I find myself often saying “so has anyone mentioned something called -insert medical condition here- to you before?” Top two right now are endometriosis and hidradenitis suppurativa but there are some competitors

Mine fell asleep in the car on the way back home from my mom’s, for the second time this holiday week-ish, at 5:30pm and this will probably work out poorly for me but thank god. Crap weather and places closed for the holiday and just out of routine? Brutal.

My siblings and I all loved this movie soo much. Watched about a million times. My brother asks when my daughter will be old to watch it (she’s not quite 3) and I’m not entirely sure the appropriate age range for this

I think mine would co-sign chocolate chip class! Also classes are so funny at this age, sometimes we go and she just refuses to participate (circus arts, gymnastics, hit or miss on music-dance) others where leaving is a meltdown because she never wants to leave (swimming)

At work I was telling about test driving a Subaru and the poor sales guy making sure to bring up diverse drivers and rehoboth beach and just short of “but if gay? buy Subaru?” And my midwife bud is rolling her eyes so hard, then adds “I’d be mad… but my girlfriend drives a Subaru so he’s not wrong”

A trauma surgeon I worked with had two bloodthirsty nephews that would always pester her for work stories, the gorier the better. She said she tried to turn it into a valuable moral lesson “… And so, if that man hadn’t been drinking, he wouldn’t have climbed that tree” but she wasn’t sure it helped

Curry with coconut milk and rice, if I have a lot of energy, I will chop up and sauté vegetables if not bag of frozen vegetables works well too and protein of choice (I’m veggie so tofu cubes, faux meatie things, but for non-veggies I think chicken or shrimp would work well)
