20 years ago I was an addict. I've been trying to work on letting go of the self-hatred from back then and yesterday, I ordered a new bass to replace the one I sold 2 decades ago to get high. It's a small gesture towards myself but ordering it felt like forgiving my 18 year old self

Love how since I'm sick I was fighting off falling asleep on the couch all day but now it's 2 AM and my insomnia is in full on jackass mode.

National organizations are great for fighting national issues. Local organizations help build the foundation the national ones can build off of. If you support a national organization, please consider finding local ones to support as well. We need to take the ground up approach

Decided to start making YouTube videos as a way of basically just getting my thoughts out of my head and out into the world in some, hopefully, meaningful way. Been trying to work on a loose script all week and all I have is the title. At this rate, the video should be uploaded no later than 2050

Umm... so we can't remove followers on here? Had a bot/scam account follow me and all I could do was block them, but it doesn't seem to have changed my follower count. Do we really not have a way of removing people from our followers list @bsky.app?

Went to donate plasma this morning. Pulse was high, so they did the usual and had me sit for 10-15 minutes. Re-checked and pulse was 101 (cut off to donate is 100), and I was deferred for the day. Tbh, this sums up this year pretty well imo. Lot of "almost" moments that ended in disappointment

Now is the time to organize locally if you aren't already. Find a local group that helps serve as a community and safety net. If one of those groups doesn't exist in your area, start one. Community is going to be our biggest asset moving forward.
