"why are they so gender in the vague conceptual way" because they originated as vent art i did in 2012 before i knew anything about gender stuff or what half my existential misery with no name was about
a large white humanoid with a single central eye and no other facial features has a massive gaping hole in its body with ragged edges. inside this hole is pure darkness and a smaller more human looking figure with glasses. they are either sitting or half their lower half subsumed by darkness that prevents them from moving.
