I think this is why I fw the “selfish” jobs like samurai and machinist because yes you do line up your shit with buffs, if things go sideways you are completely self sufficient without any buffs happening

And it all comes back to the two minute burst meta like I really do wish this would get taken out or reworked for more flexible buff windows but the rigidity of it affects fights and job design way too much

Hell black mage didn’t have any problems in tier 1 and it still got changed cause the devs had no faith in its performance in phase 2. Like I really do they we can’t play the game sometimes.

Cause besides a raid buff and cards, white mage now has the same downtime capabilities as before along with having more mitigation and even better personal damage so um.

Also also now every tank pretty much has the same one minute burst to each other and that's lame I hope that gets changed in 8.0

Also the double down change was completely meaningless now lmao
