The strongest people I’ve ever met were the ones who stayed kind and retained their empathy after going through the most painful and traumatic events. Stayed soft, didn’t let the bitterness of the world seep through the wounds life gave them.

I love that dogs are allowed in the #stm now. Because I’ll be having a regular (ie shitty) day and see a cocker spaniel sitting on their mom’s lap… and for a short instant while our eyes meet (the dog and I) life is worth living.
