I strongly dislike drawing bow and arrow characters, not because they're not cool, but if you don't line everything up just right and have completely straight lines then everything looks all janky and wiggly

Backlash from Image Comics. Never heard of him. He looks like across between black suit Spidey and Omega Red with a little Gambit in there. I'm not even gonna type out his history and powers here, his wikipedia reads like a 14 year old's D&D character sheet

Spent several days going over this Earth 65 version of Captain America. This is Samantha Wilson (get it?) who was chosen as Cap over Steve and Bucky. I tried not to just do Cap with boobs, still having trouble making her costume distinctive. Maybe going more aviator flight suit? I dunno, I'm tired

Dani Moonstar from the New Mutants/various X-teams, i tried making her less "headband feather native american stereotype," but i couldn't get away from the bow & arrow, which is a dumb trademark because her power is projecting visions of peoples worst fears into their minds. Sorry in advance

And we're pulling back onto the Pouchtober turnpike with Guts from Berserk, a character and anime i know nothing about other than armor on a big guy is real hard to draw so i made him crouching so i didn't have to draw most of it. The system works!

Did you know Atari put out a comic thru DC in the early 80s? Atari Force was a Star Trek-ish multinational force put together to defend the earth against whatever alien threats. This character, Dart, was basically a Tasha Yar security officer, as far as i can tell

A lot of uncomfortably militarized characters in this pouchtober list. Union Jack is basically the british Captain America, but not Captain Britain because that's a different guy. And not quite Captain Carter because that's Peggy Carter. This guy seems to fight vampires a lot tho, so that's cool

The Mandalorian (and Grogu), very cool character, very aggravating to draw. Lots of little pads and armor segments and buckles and straps, but i guess that's what Pouchtober's all about right

Kinda didn't wanna do this one but i must obey the list. Wild Dog is basically the DC Comics version of Punisher, just a dude with a lot of guns, but he wears a hockey mask because it was the 80s, and his shirt has a big red laughing cartoon dog instead of a skull, so that's fun?
