Alongside the games journal, every journey was exciting & planned due to the limited fast travel options & the simplist of quests drew me in, being sent to heal an orc in a daedric ruin etc also figuring out how to use the boots of blinding speed felt like I was mastering the magic

I played Morrowind for the first time last year & I love it, there was a bit of a learning curve after leaving Seyda Neen but the world & story drew me in & once I got the mechanics of combat everything clicked - I loved that I actively took notes & kept a journal of places I visited/cleared
