My favorite interpretation of Sakamoto Ryouma is in Peacemaker Kurogane, hands down.

First time he shows up, he’s poorly singing the Star Spangled Banner at the top of his lungs, in English.

Love this! Really love the thickness variance between the inner and outer lines and the sharp angles of her hips and bent elbows. Overall the pose is really well done with how it’s stylized and interpreted. Making me itch to draw to try out some of the stuff myself hahaha!

Digital art felt the most accessible and versatile, for me. You could do a lot in a single drawing program. I also wanted to animate quite a bit so I gravitated more to it because of YouTube animations.

I recommend studying movie frames! Composition, color, lighting, backgrounds, storytelling all neatly rolled into one

This one generates a random frame for movies. Might be a fun drawing challenge.

Being obsessed with a character 👍

But in all honesty, I had years of experience with photography and other visual arts, so once I got over the hump of spitting out bad drawings, I felt that knowledge helped with just being able to put together an illustration.
