Thanks, David, for the reminder. I had give up and forgotten about the Geminids because of days of non-stop atmospheric river, but we have a small gap in the clouds, and after being prompted by your post, went outside and saw a few.

Unfortunately, the cost is a highly asymmetrical distribution with a long tail, a few people paying exorbitant prices for plane tickets. The average means very little, even if this statistic has a proper source.

Read the book, wasn't fond of it. And as it so happens, three suns is overkill. As this work shows, the third body can be the planet, and its orbit is still chaotic.
