there was a story, cannot remember who, might have been a Feynman story or back in the days of Bell Labs. An engineer managed to complete projects before proposing them, got them approved, then, after a suitable gap, presented them. worked great until 1 "proposal" was deemed impossible.

my husband, 4-year-old, 1-year-old, and I, took amtrack berkeley to seattle decades ago. we did a family room 1way and a downstairs room with beds the other. coach should be okay because you can get up and wander at any time. This is assuming portland, oregon.

i have a somewhat handicapped cat who is fine climbing up ladders, but not coming down. (he had some sort of virus as a neonatal kitten, not CH, but similar).

currently, the census inclusion of those who cannot vote (age, citizenship, incarceration, etc) increases the proportion of representatives in that area, magnifying the vote of those who can vote. This is so representatives represent their constituents by numbers. Just a side effect.

oh yes. non-citizens do not use roads, drink water, use schools, hospitals, libraries, take transit, etc. etc. I do realize the republicans want to restrict or eliminate those items anyhow. Also, the constitution is just an outdated document. sigh...
