When you look at the state of Congress it’s pretty clear that’s what they’re all after. I get tired of hearing how in private a number of them say they hate Trump but it’s that MAGA base they’re afraid of. Someday this will be in the past but the damage will be hard to clean up.

It’s all in the word structure. Careful to say “I would have”. VERY careful not to say “I did”. It’s ok Pete. We got your message loud and clear.
