RORγt-expressing DCs can activate naive T cells and have pro-inflammatory features in autoimmune inflammation. But these cells can also induce T cell tolerance highlighting their therapeutic potential in autoimmunity and cancer.

Excited to share our recent work. We show that dendritic cells that express RORγt are a distinct lineage of DCs with wide tissue distribution and functions ranging from inducing T cell tolerance to T cell activation. Great lead work from PhD student @hamswann.bsky.social www.pnas.org/doi/10.1073/...
