From the doggie point of view, he keeps telling you about the invasion and you have done nothing to get rid of the invaders. Therefore he needs to keep reminding you about the invasion. You should be grateful for his efforts.

Most likely this has happened before and then things got better. That’s how it will go this time. Things will get better. Depression does not last forever. There are better times in your future. Hang in there. I know all this from personal experience

I’ve been down this road. My beagle has degenerative disc disease and was paralyzed in her back end. After extremely expensive surgery (I have pet insurance) she’s been great. Another option is a doggie wheelchair. Let me know if you want to discuss this when you get a diagnosis.
