Media and its consumers thrive on feeding the beast. Something new, worse, bigger, more spectacular , more devastating each day to hold on to viewers. It used to be news at 6 only but with a 24hr news re-cycle and slashed budgets we aren't seeing the quality news we were promised.

So sad. Back in the 80's they used to shoot all of the photos for their flyers & ads in a little studio in the downtown Bay store in Calgary. They were distributed all across Canada. As a gal in grade 11 it was a great part time job that paid $50/hr. Better than any other job for a student.
