i think its too. crunchy rules rn :/ like . sigh i started this game bc i wanted something w a good insight/perception system, some kind of opposed roll. but i dont like any of the stats systems ive come up with and im remembering how much i like belonging outside belonging games i think there's a way i can make this work wi a token system like BoB but idk. im gonna rewrite a olavbook with this new idea in mind and see how i like it one of my mutuals whos like. an amazing game designer. sent me a draft of what theyre working on and its a BoB game and it reminded me how much i love those. ough, https://twitter.com/wildwoodsgames follow my buddy luke btw. cool ass games

so sick!!! i did my first multiple block print recently too
two prints of a keith haring inspired multicolor block print. it depicts a purple figure with cutouts in their chest and crotch. they are touching their hands between their chest and a second red figure is punching through the crotch.

i think the first version of what begin again is now started here, almost two years ago. but i think the concept that eventually turned INTO begin again is from a good 6 months before this, if not more! i chipped away at this marble block for a loooong time lol

“Begin Again” is a new game releasing in march 2026! it's a belonging-outside-belonging game where you play soon-graduating college students stuck in a timeloop, forced to confront their own fears of the future.

Introduction Begin Again gives us unassigned assigned seats, recognizable laughter from next door, gossip that haunts your tenure, years-long grudges, the swift yet brutally slow passing of time, and the voices of everyone you know asking “So, what’s next?” In Begin Again, you play as a group of college students staring down the ticking clock, frozen on the precipice of a world they’re scared to face. It is a waiting game where you can wait no longer. It is grappling with the reflection looking back at you. It is hating the place you’re inextricably tethered to.
