stocks go brrrrrr... Thanks, Trump!

I wrote a novel back in 2011. The inspiration was the 2012 "apocalypse". I'd read that The Mayans believed change would occur, but not immediately. We wouldn't wake up on 12/22 with a whole new world of magic, a la Shadowrun. Instead, it would be the beginning of a longer transition of 10-15 years.

I hate it so much, but I'm worried there's stuff tied to facebook that I'll lose access to if I delete it permanently.

My first "social media" experience was livejournal. That was great, because you could write full on journal entries, and read your friends. It felt like a community of sharing content. I left around the time it started getting bad, and switched to Facebook.

Hey Instagram! I don't need a "teen account", I will NEVER need a "teen account", and if I somehow found myself in a situation where I did need one, I would absolutely, positively never in a million years, sit down with said Teen to show him how the app works on a phone. Just sayin.

Dammit. I lasted 2 days this year. Poor showing. Good luck to those still in!
