My take away from the movie was one of my friends who has 3 huskies watching it for the first time where he saw the dogthing just staring there blankly into space.

Life's tricky like that and its at times maliciously unfair. Only advice I know to give people is that you could see something cool tomorrow. Or maybe make someone, Or have someone make you smile. The small things help a bit.

I feel like the worst version of this is also when games have something like pick ups or a big ol treasure chest right within view during the cutscene itself.

Sharing is the easy part. Getting people to care beyond just "I'm tired and wanna just zone out to some youtube videos" is a hurdle that blocks out the sun like a monolith left behind by some cruel unknown god not known to the human race.

I still remember the time a guy tried to bring me and my brothers into an argument with my mom as a uninvolved third party to it all.
I had no idea she could lift a guy like that by his shirt like that let alone scare someone that bad by just pure angered mom strength before.
