It was either BrightData or the fact we had switched to a Nvidia proprietary graphics driver the last time we used Ubuntu that was used to find our IP and at the very least cut off our network connection.

…the computer started logging us out when trying to open the settings, eventually crashing while trying to boot, eventually disappearing from the motherboard all together. We took out the other hard drives and started it up to troubleshoot it after posting that art with our phone and now it’s fine.

To explain what happened - We finished some art and logged into our Ubuntu to upload it. Upon connecting to a proxy we’ve been using for a minute and updating the system, the network connection froze before anything began installing. We closed out of the terminal to reset our internet when…
