There is a simple solution for this - free healthcare for all. This solves both this VA issue and healthcare in one go. Other countries manage it easily. It's just the US that can't grasp it.

All your points are a minimum, but i wouldn't back further deals as it gives the Russians a legitimate seat at the table. They no longer deserve that. Russia needs to be de-militarised and have free and fair elections. Perhaps then we might talk to them. Might.

The only question Europe needs to ask is do they believe the U.S. would have their back in the event of an attack on a NATO country? The answer to this question should guide future NATO policy.
