Way up here in the Northwoods, the pace of that final mile delivery 100% depends on how many packages our amazing rural route carrier, Joey, can fit in his Chevy Impala. No joke. I get a chuckle anytime I’m told my package was delayed due lack of space. 🤣

Up here in Northern Wisconsin, we also mourn the death of the CDC, in our own unique way.

I live in a town of less than 100 people. If I mail something to the next town over (7 miles away), it goes to two different regional mail centers in two different states before making it to the next town. There’s your government efficiency!

Can those of us on your southern shore at least be honorary proud Canadians?

My mom has steam coming out of her ears over this announcement. First Northland closing and now this. How many more jobs gone in an area of the state that so desperately needs them? Mom says I’m lucky that I’m a dog and don’t have to worry about making money.
