Last Saturday was good weather for brewing beer. This time we have a historical style: Roggenbeir! An old German style made with a large amount of rye malt existed before the country initiated the Reinheitsgebot (Beer purity law) in 1516. It virtually disappeared in Germany until the 1980s. 🍻

1st up is Centennial DIPA (7.7% ABV, 150 IBUs, seriously hoppy)
2nd is Carter's ESB (7.1% ABV, 35 IBUs, nicely malt-forward) named for the late Jimmy Carter
